

Throughout his presidency, Trump has consistently shown adoration and special comity for Putin. Why isn’t Trump angry about this? Why are there no consequences for Russia? Families of the twenty-some American service members killed since 2019 in Afghanistan deserve answers. We’ve noted that Trump has ignored other Russian provocations throughout his presidency. We already knew that Trump never confronted Putin regarding 2016’s election interference. Trump’s non-action and secrecy led someone in the Pentagon to leak the story. How has President Trump responded to this information? Was he angry? Did he initiate appropriate consequences against Putin? Alas, our president simply tried to keep it a secret. The payer-organization was a Russian unit known to have performed covert assassinations in Europe.

Where the president accuses Democrats and others on the left for being divisive and exclusionary, I find he does the exact same thing. My experience has taught me that the best solutions comes when both sides get together and work things out. What is important is coming together to determine the most optimal solution that will have the greatest impact on the group it is designed to serve. I don't care whether a Democrat or Republican proposes a solution to a problem. I pride myself on being an independent who does not believe either of the major parties possess the right answers to solve today's complex issues. I spent 10 years in the service of this country and am as patriotic as the next person however, just because I believe his proposed direction of this country is wrong, doesn't make me a conspirator to commit treason. He basically said that anybody who didn't share his worldview were part of a conspiracy to rewrite the history of this country.
